CircoGreen Salon, a licensable circular VIP lounge that packs down into one crate

AI TAIWAN Future Commerce Expo · Co-curated by ChiHe Design

A one-off venue becomes a truckload of waste on teardown day.
CircoGreen Salon packs down into a single crate.

The Concept

Every major event deserves a refined VIP lounge,
without paying for it in single-use budget and waste.

CircoGreen Salon turns the VIP lounge into a rentable circular product: curatorial-grade space at rental cost, with sustainability built in from the start.

The Pain

Quality or budget. Organizers usually have to choose.

Every important expo, forum, or annual gala wants a presentable VIP lounge to host speakers, dignitaries, and key clients. But a custom build usually means expensive one-off carpentry and large-format prints. The moment the event ends, the whole room becomes a truckload of waste. The well-funded version is not sustainable; the sustainable version rarely looks the part.

The Answer

Turn the VIP lounge into a rentable circular module.

CircoGreen Salon uses reusable, modular materials to deliver a curatorial-grade space designed by an internationally awarded team, offered to organizers on a rental basis. No full custom-build budget, no teardown waste. Quality, budget, and sustainability finally hold together in the same room.

Budget

Solves the budget

The rental model delivers a curatorial-grade VIP space for a fraction of a one-off custom build, leaving more resources for the event itself.

Quality

Solves the quality

Designed by ChiHe Design's internationally awarded team. Not a temporary backdrop, but a space your guests remember, one that carries the weight of your brand.

Sustainability

Solves the sustainability

Reusable and measurable. The carbon savings can be written directly into the organizer's sustainability communications and ESG disclosures as a verifiable result.

Raising both on-site quality and sustainable brand value for event organizers.

Design Intent

A quiet forest inside a hall of screens, built to be taken apart.

Four decisions shaped the space. Each one serves the guest in the room and the next venue at the same time.

01

Counterpoint

AI TAIWAN is a hall of screens, data and light shows. The lounge answers in the opposite language: tropical botanical imagery, white gauze and solid wood benches. Guests step through an arched threshold and the pace of the expo drops away.

02

Designed to come apart

Dismantling was drawn into the plans from the start. Walls and ceiling hang on aluminium extrusion frames that release with screws, with no single-use carpentry anywhere in the room. Every material had its next destination confirmed before the visual design began.

03

Soft architecture

Stretch fabric does the work of walls, ceiling and lightbox. Printed botanical drapes divide the meeting booths instead of partitions. Light passes through translucent layers, giving the room depth without heavy construction, and every surface folds flat for storage.

04

A lounge that travels

Six functional zones stand as independent modules: backdrop, side walls and ceiling, entrance arch, curtain booths, meeting booth and brand lightbox wall. They are designed to be reconfigured for the footprint of the next venue, so the lounge can move to a gala, a forum or a launch.

Why CircoGreen Salon

Design that turns circularity into brand value.

Not booth construction, but a curated circular VIP experience. Reusable, measurable, and waste-free at teardown.

01

Reusable Material

Circular by design

Dye-sublimation stretch fabric replaces conventional PVC laminate and composite board, avoiding one-off carpentry and large-format prints. Modules can be re-installed, dismantled, and shipped again and again.

02

Measurable Impact

Numbers you can cite

Every installation comes with a carbon footprint estimate and reduction report, based on Taiwan's Product Carbon Footprint Information Platform, ready to use in your sustainability communications and media coverage.

03

Curatorial Design

A space worth remembering

Spatial storytelling by an internationally awarded design team. A curated VIP experience that makes your brand memorable on site, not an engineering fit-out.

The Stage

AI TAIWAN Future Commerce Expo

Taiwan's largest B2B expo for AI applications and transformation solutions. The 2026 edition drew over 20,000 registered business visitors and over 150 matchmaking sessions, hosted for the 12th consecutive year by Business Next, the annual gathering for Taiwan's tech and business decision-makers.

The Organizer

BNEXT MEDIA Group

Founded in 1999, BNEXT MEDIA publishes Business Next, Manager Today, and Shopping Design, and runs key communities including Meet Startup and Future Commerce. It is a core platform for Taiwan's technology and new-business discourse.

On a stage that gathers Taiwan's business decision-makers, circular design hosted the most important guests in the room. There is no more direct proof that sustainability can be premium.

We look forward to bringing CircoGreen Salon to the next major expo, forum, or brand event, in Taiwan and beyond.

Carbon Proof

Case: the AI TAIWAN 2026 VIP Lounge build

By switching the display walls from conventional PVC laminate and composite board to dye-sublimation stretch fabric, we substantially cut single-use waste and carbon footprint. Total display output: approximately 272 m² of printed surface.

Figures cover the display output materials stage of this installation. Emission factors are secondary data from Taiwan's Product Carbon Footprint Information Platform. The baseline is an estimate assuming conventional materials at the same scale; equivalences are illustrative and actual results vary with each installation.

The Evidence · Whitepaper Summary

How the numbers were made, and where every wall goes next.

02 · Six Zones, Six Destinations

Nothing enters the venue without a confirmed next destination.

Life cycle: pre-design (destinations confirmed first) → modular design → 3-day use (24–26 June 2026) → screw-out dismantling → storage → redeployment. Each reuse lowers the per-event footprint of the modules; the value of a circular lounge shows at the Nth event, not the first.

04 · UN Sustainable Development Goals

Three SDG targets, each with a goal we report against.

SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production
SDG 12.5 · Substantially reduce wasteZero-waste dismantling and fully reusable display output. Three-year goal: 10+ redeployments across expos, galas, forums and pop-ups, each with a public reuse and carbon record.
SDG 13 Climate Action
SDG 13.2 · Integrate climate measures into planningA carbon estimate and reduction report with every installation, so event procurement can weigh footprint alongside cost. Ten-year goal: 10+ tCO₂e of verifiable reductions in the exhibition line.
SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals
SDG 17.17 · Effective public-private partnershipsCo-curated with BNEXT MEDIA at AI TAIWAN 2026: the organizer brings the stage, CircoGreen brings the space, the data and the story.

Extended alignment, stated separately: SDG 12.6 (sustainability reporting, via the citation guide) and SDG 13.3 (climate awareness, via a visitor survey from the next redeployment, not yet verified).
